The science behind the game

During discharge, lithium ions travel through the electrolyte-filled separator from the graphite anode to the cathode. Electrons take the external circuit to deliver power. The separator blocks electrons while allowing ionic transport. The moving gates, traps, score and heat meter are arcade abstractions, not a physical simulation.
